LaFonda Rose Freamon
LaFonda Rose Freamon of Winchester, Oregon, age 87, passed away after losing her battle with Alzheimer’s disease on Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was born October 14, 1929, in Reedley, California, to Lester and Etta Clift.
LaFonda was married to Gerald (Bud) Freamon for 69 years.
She is survived by husband, Bud; son, Jerry Freamon and wife, Darlene; daughter, Margaret and husband, Dennis Whitten; daughter, Connie and husband Tom Seabaugh; and daughter Tami Holt; six grandchildren, Kennon Freamon, Monique Moulden, Jennifer Gregory, Michelle Storey, Broy Cunningham and Brianna Cunningham; also eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. LaFonda was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a long career at Mercy Hospital as a histology technician. After retiring, LaFonda and Bud enjoyed traveling, camping and visiting family and friends. LaFonda was known for her master baking, love of antiques, her flowers, quilts, bird watching, gardening, crocheting and square dancing.
She was the “LIFE of the PARTY” and someone who made your day a little better. She will be greatly missed by all. We rejoice that she is with our Lord. Private services have been held.
